I got the debit card for my business yesterday. I am sitting in the Hastings coffee shop taking advantage of there wireless internet waiting for my husband to get here with his cell phone so I can finish setting up my Amazon account. I tried to set up an account on Ubid last night but kept denying my debit card for some reason. I took a second look at the site after my card was denied and it started to question if I wanted to open up an account on there or not. I noticed a lot of people on there with no feedback which means there probably not getting any sales. I’m not sure if I want to spend hours listing stuff on there and pay 6 dollars a month for a membership if so many people are doing that poorly on there. I would like to get listed on the Google shopping thing but I am not sure how much that will take. I don’t think I want to pay the kind of money required to have an Ebay store, at least not yet anyway. Maybe not ever. I know a lot of there rules changed so will need to take another look at there store and the kind of fees required. That’s why I have always liked Amazon. You run an item until its sold and that’s the kind of thing I am looking for is to run an item until its sold. Ubid has auctions like that but once again I was discouraged by the amount of people I saw with no feedback.
The other option is to create my own store. I don’t know how well that works and I would have to have my son put one together. If I could use dreamweaver I could do it myself but I don’t. I guess maybe I need to sit down and find the time to figure out how to use it.
