Mu husbands ex brother in law’s girlfriend or common law wife or what ever you want to call her wrecked her car this weekend. She T boned another car. She did not have full coverage on the car (it was paid for) and will have to pay to have it fixed out of her pocket. We had her take it to a friend of our who owns a garage and fixes older cars like hers and mine. He fixed my door handles for me when they broke off after the ice storms we had last winter. He gets his parts from places like Mopar parts. Some parts for those older cars can be hard to find but he never seems to have a problem getting what he needs from places like that.
She kept trying to tell her boyfriend it wasn’t her fault. She told us this long story about lightening striking in the intersection and for that reason the cops said it was a “no fault” accident”. There is nothing about lightening on the police report. I dont know who she thinks she is fooling.
